How to Set Up Dubsado for Your Firm

Now that we've gone over some of the benefits of using Dubsado, let's take a look at how to set it up for your bookkeeping and accounting firm.

The first thing you'll need to do is create a Dubsado account.

Once you've created your account, you'll be able to access the Dubsado platform and start setting up your sales process.

Here's a quick overview of how to get started:

  • Create a Dubsado account

  • Add your team members (if any)

  • Edit your settings and add your branding

  • Connect your payment gateway

Once you've completed these steps, you'll be ready to start using Dubsado to automate your sales process!

How Dubsado Fits Into Our Sales Process

Dubsado is an essential part of the sales process at our firm Magnetic Bookkeeping & Consulting.

We use Dubsado to create custom proposals for each new lead, which helps us stand out from the crowd. Before sending a proposal, we’ll even record a Loom video explaining the quote!

Using the packages feature, we’re able to template our offers and add them to a proposal based on what we think will best support our potential client.

Once we add the package to the proposal, we’re free to add or subtract anything we want - without messing up the original template!

We can set up workflows with tasks, canned emails, and automations to ensure that we stay on top of our workflow and nothing slips by.

Using software has helped us streamline our sales process and majorly increase efficiency (and you KNOW we’re all about that!).

Here’s a Peek Into Our Sales Process at Magnetic Bookkeeping & Consulting

  1. When someone books a call in Calendly, their information is added as a new lead in our Dubsado account.

  2. After we hold our initial consultation call, we preform a diagnostic review and check out their QuickBooks Online account.

  3. With that information, we can create a custom proposal to suit their specific needs.

  4. We’ll often give the potential client a couple packages at different price points so they can choose what feels right for them.

  5. Then, we’ll record a video via Loom explaining the different package options and send it in an email directly inside Dubsado.

  6. From that proposal, the potential lead can select a package, sign a contract, and pay their first invoice!

  7. We’ll set them up for recurring invoices in Plooto and begin collecting documents and information via Content Snare.

And that’s about it! At this point, we can begin executing any work that needs to be done to prepare us for taking over their monthly bookkeeping services.
